Overview of Armenia Weather
Armenia is a landlocked country in the Southern Caucasus, lying between the Black and Caspian Seas. It is bordered by Azerbaijan to the east, Georgia to the north, and Iran and Turkey to the south. Armenia has a continental climate with four distinct seasons. Summer in Armenia lasts from June to August. The weather is hot and dry, with temperatures often reaching 40 °C (104 °F). June is the driest month of the year, while July and August are the hottest months.
Autumn in Armenia starts in September and lasts until November. The temperatures start to cool down and the days get shorter. The average temperature in September is 17 °C (63 °F), and in October it is 9 °C (48 °F). November is the coldest month of the year, with an average temperature of 2 °C (36 °F).
Winter in Armenia starts in December and lasts until February. The weather is cold and snowy, with temperatures often dropping below freezing. December is the snowiest month of the year, while January and February are the coldest months.
