Overview of Egypt Weather
The climate in Egypt is a hot, dry desert climate. The temperature in Egypt varies depending on the season and location, but daytime temperatures are usually hot, and night-time temperatures are usually warm. The hottest months are July and August, when temperatures can reach 40°C (104°F). The cooler months are December and January, when temperatures can drop to 10°C (50°F).
Egypt experiences two different types of weather: the khamsin, which is a hot, dry wind that blows from the south in spring; and the neel, which is a cool, damp wind that blows from the Mediterranean Sea in winter.
The best time to visit Egypt is in the winter, when the weather is cooler and there is less chance of rain. However, if you want to experience the khamsin, then you should visit in spring.
