Overview of Jamaica Weather
Jamaica is a tropical country and therefore has warm weather all year round. However, there are two distinct seasons on the island – the wet season and the dry season.
The wet season runs from May to October, with June to September being the peak months. This is the time when Jamaica experiences the most rainfall, and hurricanes are also a possibility.
The dry season runs from November to April, with December to March being the peak months. This is the time when Jamaica experiences the least amount of rainfall and is therefore the busiest time for tourism.
The average temperature in Jamaica is 27 degrees Celsius (81 degrees Fahrenheit), but it can range from 21 degrees Celsius (70 degrees Fahrenheit) in the cooler months to 32 degrees Celsius (90 degrees Fahrenheit) in the hotter months.
Jamaica is a beautiful country to visit at any time of year, but if you’re looking for the best weather, then the dry season is the time to go.
