The climate of the French side of Saint-Martin is tropical, with little seasonal variation in temperature. The average temperature is about 27 degrees Celsius. The coolest months are January and February, when the average temperature is about 24 degrees Celsius. The warmest months are August and September, when the average temperature is about 29 degrees Celsius.

There is a wet season and a dry season on the French side of Saint-Martin. The wet season runs from October to May, with the heaviest rains falling in December and January. The dry season runs from June to September. Hurricane season runs from June to November.
