Overview of Thailand Weather

Thailand has a tropical climate. It’s hot and humid all year round with three main seasons:
the cool season (November-February), the hot season (March-May) and the rainy season (June-October).

The cool season is the best time to visit Thailand. The weather is mild and pleasant, and there’s little rainfall.
If you’re planning a beach holiday, this is the ideal time to go as the sea is calm and the water is warm.

The hot season is, as you might expect, the hottest time of year. Temperatures can soar to 35°C (95°F) or more and
the humidity is high. This is the peak season for tourism, so expect crowds and higher prices.

The rainy season brings with it heavy showers and thunderstorms. Although the rains can be refreshing,
they can also disrupt travel plans. If you’re visiting Thailand during this time, it’s best to
be prepared for a wet holiday.

Overall, Thailand is a great destination at any time of year. Just be sure to check the weather forecast
before you book your trip.
